My arrangement for replica Biblical Lyre, of one of my favourite traditional Jewish Klezmer melodies. Klezmer music was the Jewish wedding music of Eastern Europe, but the scales upon which these Klezmer melodies are based, have their roots deep in antiquity. The Chromatic Dorian Mode heard here, can also be heard some 3000 years ago, in the original music of the Psalms - as claimed to have been deciphered by the late Suzanne Haik Vantoura!
