According to the legend, it was at this sacred lake, that Leto gave birth to Apollo and Artemis, making it one of the most sacred sites of the ancient world.

In my own creative process, I always first think of a melody, then add what I consider to be the most fitting title later, which on reflection, adds most meaning to the original melodic idea & in turn, I feel adds to the immersive quality of the music I am attempting to create. The melody of this specific piece, after it came to me, conjures up images of calm waters & mystery!

This melody again features the transporting qualities of the ancient Greek Phrygian Mode.
